NOTE: C4 Rear rotors are used on camaro C4 NON-HD 12-inch brake upgrades due to the rotor offset. This allow for the factory rotor to be turned down into a hub. Using a front rotor requires a larger offset hub, like the 1LE F-body, for clearance which is done on the C4 HD 13-inch brake upgrades.

NOTE: You use the C5 caliper with the LS1 rotor and LS1 brake setup, you will need to use the F-body caliper carriers (abutment bracket) NOT the C5 caliper carriers (abutment bracket). The C5 and LS1 calipers are interchangeable but the C5 caliper is built to be stiffer due to the ribs on it and the casting method.

Luke, first off great site,, your work speaks for itself. Outstanding to me!! Thanks for publishing..
I am working on doing the CTS-V rear calipers four-pot 2007
on my 2009 Impala SS, W-body Fronts we have done, I’m looking to get the rears to fit/work with the complete E-brake set-up to pass State inspection here in Va. I figure I have a rotor that should work the bracket seems to be the issue and looking to save a bit on Machine shop time if-Possible…
Any thoughts or ideas would be terrific, thanks in advance if you have the time to reply and have a great holiday!
    Respectfully,
    Bryan

Hi Luke, I have a third gen, I run the Roval at Fontana speedway, long story short, I have car balanced on corner weights within 7lbs.
Bent the Spohn caster/camber plates because I bottomed out hard in the esses (car lowered for balance), looking for a shorter strut, heading towards Ohlins, I’m trying to find the lower strut mount dimensions that attaches to the spindles.
I can see Ohlins makes several up right brackets that thread onto their shocks, I’m looking to cross over to something, do you have those dims?

    Hello Luke,
I found your site on the net and also read your reports in Third Gen.org. I am from Northern Germany and own a TransAm GTA 1990 and a Camaro 5.0 TPI Conv. 1988, I want to convert the front to 1 LE brake. I’ve had the 12 “discs (OEM) and calipers (PBR reb) for a long time.
Special difficulties make me the holder of the calipers (caliper Anchor) and the holder (mounting bracket) on the spindles.
Do you have a recommendation for me where I can also buy these parts individually.

    Greetings from Germany
    Jens H.
